About Me
Lauren Passman, MA. CCC-SLP, QOM, CBS is the founder of Eat Love Thrive. She holds an MA from Temple University, is licensed by the state of Arizona, and is certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Lauren’s passion is feeding and nutrition. She has worked in various inpatient acute care hospitals in the neonatal and intensive care units, along with rehab facilities as well. She brings 20 years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan- from newborns and infants to adolescents and adults. Her clinical focus includes feeding and swallowing disorders (dysphagia), lactation support, oral-motor and myofunctional dysfunction, and the complex interplay between breathing, posture, oral function, and overall health. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she takes a holistic, root-cause approach, carefully evaluating how structure, function, habits, and environment contribute to each person’s challenges.
As a mother of three, Lauren nursed all of her children, giving her a deep firsthand understanding of not only how to feed a baby, but how physically and emotionally demanding the postpartum period can be. She recognizes that caring for a newborn begins with caring for the caregiver and is deeply committed to supporting parents in nourishing both themselves and their babies. She is passionate about empowering individuals and their families with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools they need to thrive. She integrates evidence-based practice with a deep understanding of anatomy, development, and nervous system regulation. Her work emphasizes safety, efficiency, and long-term functional outcomes—helping patients not only improve skills, but truly thrive.
Evaluations
Each evaluation will be comprehensive and we will develop an individualized treatment plan. We will take a holistic approach and look at all aspects of development and determine the best treatment plan for you/your child. We work in harmony with any other professionals and are always happy to collaborate with (e.g., school, doctors, other therapists, etc.) that play an important role in your child’s life.
Insurance
